How Much Does It Cost To Repair My Transmission??

No way to tell… at least, not yet. Not until the problem has been checked thoroughly by a qualified technician. After performing those tests, a technician will be able to tell you whether you’re dealing with a problem inside the transmission, or a problem in the vehicle systems that control transmission operation.

But then we at Crown Transmission will be able to give you a price, right? Well, no… not completely. If the problem is in the computer system, the technician will probably have to perform additional diagnosis to identify the specific cause of the problem. That may take a half hour, or may take a few hours, depending on the problem. Once he’s identified the specific problem, the shop would be able to give you an accurate estimate of the cost to fix your car.

If the problem is inside the transmission, the shop may be able to give you a rebuild price based on the type of transmission and the transmission repair option you choose. If your preference is a custom-rebuilt transmission they’ll need to disassemble and inspect the transmission in order to give you a firm price.

The good news is that the vast majority of transmission problems that come into the shop these days don’t actually end up needing a new transmission. The repairs may end up costing less than 25% of the price of a rebuilt transmission.

Mr Macy took great care of me after another shop told me I needed a new transmission. Crown did the proper testing and diagnostics to track down the problem, which ended up being much simpler than replacing a transmission! I had an amazing experience here and worked with the owner one on one to figure out my transmission issues. They were honest and transparent with their process of diagnosis and kept in close communication throughout the process along with asking for approval, and giving estimates along the way.Once the fixes were made I went and paid. I got into an amazing conversation with the owner about personal life experiences and he gave me great outlooks and advice; he also took me to my vehicle and showed me exactly what they did and even pointed out other concerns that had nothing to do with their line of business.Thank you Crown Transmission, so much for the great customer service and repairs on my vehicle. I Highly Recommended. Crown Transmission! The transmission on my 2006 Nissan Titan went out around 11:00 PM. I called Macy the next morning. He arranged pick up for my truck and was able to find me the best affordable option for my Vehicle. It was a stressful situation but Macy was great and really helped ease my mind. The service was turned around in a couple of days which was awesome too!

Mr. Macy is awesome!! I came in to get a second opinion after the dealership told me my car needed a new transmission which was over $5,000. Not to mention I just spent over $2,000 for other repairs they swore I needed. Only to misdiagnose my car. My dad told me to find a transmission shop that specializes only in transmissions. I am from the Marietta area so I when I came across Crown Transmission I was very impressed by the previous reviews. I called the shop and got the owner Mr. Macy himself. He was very kind and very knowledgeable when it comes to transmissions. He told me to bring my car in and he would do his best and all he could to help me. Well he definitely did that and more. He called me back and explained what was going on with my car & and the repairs he needed to make. He had my car fixed within 2 days and it runs like a brand new car. I am so thankful for the service I received and Mr. Macy is truly a blessing. Saved me car and my pockets.
