ASSOCIATION REBUILDING STANDARDS: CROWN TRANSMISSION IS A MEMBER OF ATRA AND IS COMMITTED TO THESE TRANSMISSION REBULD STANDARDS!

No member or person or firm shall represent that any reprocessed automatic transmission has been “rebuilt, according to ATRA specifications:, unless such transmission has been reprocessed in the following manner; and members further agree to extend nationwide, inter-shop warranty coverage only on such transmissions as have been reprocessed in the following manner:

All internal and external parts shall be dismantled and thoroughly cleaned and inspected, including the case and bell housing.
The following parts shall be replaced with new, each time; all lined friction clutch plates; all gaskets and rubber parts; metal sealing rings as are used in rotating applications; disposable type filters.
All bands as are used in dynamic applications shall be replaced with new or re-lined bands, each time.
The valve body shall be thoroughly cleaned and inspected; all dirt and varnish and foreign substances removed; all non-serviceable parts replaced, and new gaskets installed where applicable.
The torque converter shall be considered to be a part of the transmission; and any torque converter which is installed along with a rebuilt transmission shall be internally cleaned and inspected for wear; externally checked for leaks, cracks, weld failure and hub wear; and starter ring gear wear, where applicable. Any converter which is judged as not capable of delivering new converter performance and life shall be replaced with a new or rebuilt converter. Any converter which is installed along with a rebuilt transmission main body shall be guaranteed by the member along with the rest of the transmission.
Any and all other impaired, defective, or substantially worn parts which are not mentioned above, but which would not be expected to deliver new part performance, shall be restored to a sound condition, or replaced with new, rebuilt, or unimpaired used parts.

Mr Macy took great care of me after another shop told me I needed a new transmission. Crown did the proper testing and diagnostics to track down the problem, which ended up being much simpler than replacing a transmission! This place is very professional and the owner is very down to earth. He did not have my car sitting for weeks how usual shops do. He was very straight forward and clear and doesn’t make decisions without the car owners discretion.

I had an amazing experience here and worked with the owner one on one to figure out my transmission issues. They were honest and transparent with their process of diagnosis and kept in close communication throughout the process along with asking for approval, and giving estimates along the way.Once the fixes were made I went and paid. I got into an amazing conversation with the owner about personal life experiences and he gave me great outlooks and advice; he also took me to my vehicle and showed me exactly what they did and even pointed out other concerns that had nothing to do with their line of business.Thank you Crown Transmission, so much for the great customer service and repairs on my vehicle. I wish many more years of great business and success.

I Highly Recommended. Crown Transmission! The transmission on my 2006 Nissan Titan went out around 11:00 PM. I called Macy the next morning. He arranged pick up for my truck and was able to find me the best affordable option for my Vehicle. It was a stressful situation but Macy was great and really helped ease my mind. The service was turned around in a couple of days which was awesome too!

Mr. Macy is awesome!! I came in to get a second opinion after the dealership told me my car needed a new transmission which was over $5,000. Not to mention I just spent over $2,000 for other repairs they swore I needed. Only to misdiagnose my car. My dad told me to find a transmission shop that specializes only in transmissions. I am from the Marietta area so I when I came across Crown Transmission I was very impressed by the previous reviews. I called the shop and got the owner Mr. Macy himself. He was very kind and very knowledgeable when it comes to transmissions. He told me to bring my car in and he would do his best and all he could to help me. Well he definitely did that and more. He called me back and explained what was going on with my car & and the repairs he needed to make. He had my car fixed within 2 days and it runs like a brand new car. I am so thankful for the service I received and Mr. Macy is truly a blessing. Saved me car and my pockets. I would 100% recommend anyone with transmission issues to come get a second opinion here with Mr. Macy, he is fair and it could save you 1,000s of dollars.
